If you choose to be paid via PayPal outside of TikTok, we collect your Social Security Number or ITIN only through a formal, signed W-9 document delivered through our e-signature provider. Your tax ID is never requested or stored in our general onboarding form or spreadsheets — it lives only inside the signed, access-controlled W-9 document. If you choose to receive your bonus as a TikTok LIVE gift instead, no tax ID is collected.
We use the information collected to review creator applications, run the Creator Portal (onboarding, handbook agreement, and payout preference), respond to brand inquiries, and communicate with you about our services.
